3. Cookies

What this site stores on your device.

This website uses only the cookies and local storage it needs to load pages, remember your form entries while you fill them in, and keep the site secure. We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't build a profile of you across other websites.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and Google receives your IP address for that request. You can block this in your browser.

Analytics, only if you accept. When you first visit, we ask whether we may use analytics cookies. Only if you click Accept does the site load Zoho's tracking script (Zoho Marketing Automation and Zoho PageSense, part of the Zoho One suite we use). It records which of our pages you visit, so we can see what helps our visitors and, if you've given us your email, connect your visits to your enquiry in our CRM. If you decline, nothing is loaded. Your choice is stored in your own browser.

4. Who sees your data

A short list, and every one of them under contract.

Our own people

The colleagues who need it for your enquiry, your order or your claim.

Service providers

Email, website hosting, our CRM and accounting systems, all bound to use the data only for us.

Logistics and banks

Freight forwarders, customs agents and banks, where a shipment or a payment needs it.

Authorities and advisers

Where the law requires it, or where we need legal, tax or audit advice.

Where we appoint a distributor for your country, we may pass your enquiry to that distributor so they can serve you. We'll tell you when we do. We never sell personal data, and we never share it for someone else's marketing.

Some of these providers are outside the United Arab Emirates. When data leaves the UAE, we use providers that offer an adequate level of protection and contractual safeguards.

5. Your rights

What you can ask us to do.

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on personal data protection, and under other laws that may apply to you, you can ask us to:

Show you

A copy of the personal data we hold about you, and where it came from.

Correct it

Fix anything wrong or out of date.

Delete it

Remove it, where there's no legal reason to keep it.

Stop or limit it

Withdraw consent, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. We'll still keep what the law says we must.

Use our contact form and pick "A privacy request". We answer within 30 days. If you're not happy with the answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office, or to the authority in your own country.

If you're in the European Union, the EEA or the UK

The GDPR and the UK GDPR apply to our handling of your data. We rely on 4 legal bases: steps you ask for before a contract, and the contract itself (enquiries, quotes, orders, warranty claims); our legitimate interest in answering and following up business enquiries; our legal obligations (tax, customs and commercial records); and your consent for analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time. On top of the rights above, you can ask for your data in a portable format. When your data leaves the EEA or the UK, we use the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard. You can complain to the data protection authority in your own country.

6. Keeping it safe

How your data is protected.

We keep personal data on systems with access control, encryption in transit and regular backups, and we give access only to the people who need it for their work. Our partners sign confidentiality obligations before any customer information is shared.

No system is perfect. If a breach puts your rights at risk, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

7. Changes to this page

We date every version.

When this page changes, we update the date at the top. Where a change matters to you, for example a new purpose or a new recipient, we'll tell you before it takes effect. Our General Terms and Conditions of Sale refer to this page, so the version in force on the date of your contract is the one that applies to it.
