Only 1 of these 3 elements is worth regenerating.
Check 1 of 6 decides it, before anything else runs.

These are end caps on spent seawater RO elements.
They come from our intake checklist in Ras Al Khaimah.
The end cap is the first thing we look at.
The one on the left passes.
Intact, no cracks, nothing missing, no deformation.
The 2 on the right fail.
The arrows mark the damage at the rim.
That's where it ends for them.
They don't get the other 5 checks.
They don't go through our own regeneration process.
It doesn't matter how good the membrane inside might be.
A failed check is a failed check.
Both go to our Zero Waste to Energy project.
They become refuse-derived fuel, so the plastic stays out of landfill.
The end cap gets checked again on the way out.
After our process and the performance test, each element gets a new brine seal.
Then checks 1 to 5 run a second time, because handling can damage an element too.
So every element that leaves our plant has passed check 1 twice.
Once as a spent element, once as ours.
